* A tough polycarbonate blade with excellent low temperature
properties. There are pre-drilled holes which allow
accessory cord to be fitted to fashion a 'Deadman' brake
in emergencies.
* A telescopic alloy shaft that can be fitted either
way round to the head allows the shovel to be used in
a variety of confined spaces: making it easy to use
for snow-holing.
